A YouTube or other video link will not transcribe
Check access, restrictions and temporary download failures before retrying.

First, read the error message shown by TranscriptX. It usually includes the next action.
Check the source
Open the exact video link in a private browser window while signed out. Check that the video still exists, plays and contains audible speech. Use a link to an individual video, not a search results page, playlist or folder.
Private, deleted, age-restricted, region-restricted or paid videos may not be retrievable. A video playing in your own signed-in browser does not prove TranscriptX can access it. Do not share account cookies or passwords to bypass these restrictions.
Temporary failures
YouTube and other platforms can temporarily block automated downloads. If TranscriptX says to wait, follow the suggested delay and try once more. Repeated submissions may not resolve the block. A supported platform is not a guarantee that every link will work.
If the problem persists
Contact help@transcriptx.xyz or use the support messenger. Include the platform, error message, approximate time and reference number if shown. Share the source link only if it is safe to share. Never include API keys, MCP tokens or passwords.
