TranscriptX turns public video and audio links into text.

  1. Open https://transcriptx.xyz/ and sign up or log in.

  2. Copy the link to the individual video or audio episode you want to transcribe. Paste it into the URL input.

  3. Leave language detection on automatic unless you know it is choosing the wrong language. Start transcription and wait for the result.

  4. Copy or export the transcript once it appears. Review names, numbers and important quotations against the source.

The source must be accessible without signing in. Support for a platform does not guarantee every video can be retrieved. Private, deleted, restricted and temporarily blocked videos may fail.

TranscriptX currently accepts links; it does not provide direct uploads from your phone or computer. For a file you own and have permission to share, use an accessible media link. Do not make confidential recordings public.

If a link fails, read the error and its suggested action before retrying. See https://transcriptx.xyz/help for troubleshooting, or contact help@transcriptx.xyz. Include the platform, the exact error, and when it happened. Never send passwords, API keys or MCP tokens.
